About the Job As a Supply Chain Operations Executive at Aonic, you will manage all aspects of the supply chain and procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, logistics and inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of supply chain operations, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Formulate and implement supply chain and procurement strategies that align with business objectives and ensure that all materials and services are procured at the best value.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, evaluate potential vendors, and negotiate contracts and terms to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met while upholding quality standards.
Ensure that all procurement activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
Proficiently manage both export and import shipments to ensure seamless international trade operations.
Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain while maintaining product quality and manage inventory levels and logistics operations to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products and materials.
Address operational challenges such as delays, disruptions, or shortages, and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks and maintain operational continuity.
Provide regular reports on procurement and supply chain performance, delivering data-driven insights to support informed strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Educational Background: Degree in Supply Chain/ Logistics Management/ Business Administration, or a related field.
Required language(s): Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia to liaise with associates.
Experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a solution-oriented mindset.
Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, custom regulations, and international logistics.
Proven experience in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement, with a strong knowledge in supplier evaluation and selection.
Excellent negotiation, communication and networking skills to maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making, along with being detail-oriented to ensure the accuracy of records and reports.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,) and ERP system.
