Job description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Manager / Senior Manager to oversee Planning (70%) and Procurement (30%). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing efficient supply chain strategies, optimizing processes, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of goods, and maintaining inventory accuracy — all while driving cost savings and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end supply chain operations: Planning (70%) and Procurement (30%).
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Lead and supervise the planning and procurement team to ensure timely sourcing of materials and services at the best value.
  • Oversee production and material planning to meet customer demands while optimizing inventory levels.
  • Monitor supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and build strong vendor relationships.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of the supply chain.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Finance, HR, Sales, HSE and Customer Service teams.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and corporate policies.
  • Provides staff development.

Education, Experience and Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management with a strong understanding of Planning and Procurement.
  • Technical certification preferred.
  • Project management experience.
  • Leadership training.
  • 7-10 years of Lean Leadership experience preferred.

Additional Information Regarding Position:

  • Must be willing to work at Kulim High Tech Park, Kedah.
  • Well versed in Planning and Procurement.
