About the role

We are a leading manufacturing company in Shah Alam, Selangor, seeking a talented and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's entire supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement, inventory management, and logistics.

What you'll be doing

1. Strategically plan and manage the supply chain, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and optimise inventory levels
3. Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing for raw materials and other supplies
4. Monitor and analyse supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
5. Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline supply chain operations
6. Oversee the transportation and distribution of finished products to customers
7. Manage a team of supply chain professionals and provide leadership and mentoring

What we're looking for

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior supply chain role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing and optimising end-to-end supply chain operations
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in utilising supply chain management software and data analysis tools
