Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain functions, including procurement, production/material planning, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable terms to enhance cost efficiency, delivery speed, and product quality.
- Track and evaluate key supply chain performance indicators; drive cost-saving initiatives and continuous process improvements.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Finance departments to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals.
- Ensure accurate and timely material availability, particularly for SMT and box-build operations.
- Manage ERP system usage (preferably M2M), ensuring data accuracy for planning and material tracking.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks; develop contingency plans for potential disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and supply chain best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain or planning roles within the electronics manufacturing sector.
- Solid understanding of SMT and box-build assembly processes, along with strong materials control expertise.
- Proficient in ERP systems, with M2M experience preferred.
- Proven leadership in cross-functional collaboration and supplier performance management.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to perform well in high-pressure, deadline-oriented environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to AS9100 (ISO 9001), and experience in aerospace, electronics, or ISO 13485-certified medical device manufacturing.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
- Familiarity with international logistics and import/export compliance.
