Role Overview and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy to maximize efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute end-to-end supply chain strategies that align with business goals.

Manage procurement, logistics, inventory, warehousing, and distribution functions.

Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement supply chain optimization techniques.

Monitor key supply chain KPIs (e.g. inventory turnover, supplier performance).

Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers and logistics partners.

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Lead an develop a team of supply chain professionals.

Pre-requisites:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role

Technical & Soft Skills:

Leadership skills: Strong leadership and people management capabilities, with a proven track record of leading and developing operational teams.

Organizational skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in. a dynamic environment

Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify operational issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.

Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders across all levels.

Vendor management: Experience in managing supplier relationships, procurement coordination, and vendor negotiations to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with supply chain systems and ERP tools is an added advantage
