A leading company in the semiconductor industry seeks a Supply Chain Management Manager to lead the SCM team in overseeing procurement processes and supplier management. The role entails developing strategies, ensuring compliance, and achieving cost-efficiencies in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and demonstrated experience in procurement leadership.
Lead and manage the SCM team, overseeing the sourcing of materials, equipment, and services to support our sapphire wafer production. Responsible for developing procurement strategies, optimizing supplier relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving cost-efficiency across the supply chain. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong organizational, negotiation, and analytical skills, capable of operating in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead the procurement department and supervise buyers in day-to-day operations.
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
Oversee supplier qualification, performance evaluation, and risk management.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure best value.
Ensure timely procurement to support production planning and inventory targets.
Monitor and control procurement budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
Coordinate international logistics, customs clearance, and trade documentation (Form E, CoO, K1, etc.).
Maintain and improve procurement-related SOPs in line with ISO 9001 standards.
Collaborate with production, quality, finance, and sales teams on cross-functional objectives.
Provide leadership, training, and performance feedback to the procurement team.
Requirements:
Strong command of English (minimum B2 level)
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
Proven experience in manufacturing or semiconductor industry preferred.
Deep understanding of Incoterms, international shipping, and supplier compliance.
Proficiency in SQL Accounting or similar ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of trade documentation (Form E, CoO, K1) and import/export regulations.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with procurement KPIs.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ISO 9001 audits and procurement documentation.
Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Trello).
Exposure to supplier networks in Asia and Europe.
