About the role

As a Supply Chain Executive at Lai Ngit Sen Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in optimising the company's supply chain operations. This full-time position is based in Kuching, Sarawak, and involves managing the procurement, logistics and inventory processes that support the company's manufacturing and distribution activities.

What you'll be doing

• Forecasting and planning materials and inventory requirements to meet production and sales demands
• Sourcing, negotiating and managing relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Coordinating logistics and transportation to efficiently move products
• Monitoring and analysing supply chain performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with broader business objectives
• Implementing and maintaining inventory management systems to optimise stock levels
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures and regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a supply chain, procurement or logistics role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address supply chain issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders
• Proficient in using Autocount software
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field
