Job summary

A leading company in the aerospace sector is looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage all procurement activities aligned with their policies. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma in Supply Chain or related field and have strong communication skills, experience in procurement, and preferably familiarity with Trax or SAP. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including sourcing, preparing quotations, and ensuring on-time deliveries, all while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the procurement field.
• Knowledge in Trax or SAP will be advantageous.
• Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.

Job description

Key Accountabilities:

1. Responsible for all procurement activities for various BMM activities.

2. Sourcing, RFQs, prepare quotation summary, and generate purchase orders according to BMM Procurement policy.

3. Ensure deliveries are in line with the agreed terms & conditions.

4. Able to handle daily operational issues with minimal supervision.

5. Contribute on cost saving/other improvement initiatives.

6. Generating Procurement reports (Outstanding PR, Outstanding PO, MRP fulfilment, Vendor Performance, and On Time Delivery Report)

7. Perform spares ordering on customer’s ERP/Spare ordering platform.

8. Perform spares posting/movement updates on customer’s ERP/Spare ordering platform.

9. Other duties as assigned by supervisor/superior.

Qualification Required

1. Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics Management / Engineering or a related field.

2. Knowledge / Skills / Competencies Required.

3. Knowledge in Trax or SAP will be advantageous.

4. Resourceful and self-motivated with a learning mindset.

5. Good communication skills.

6. Experience working with various stakeholders.

7. Possess Team Player mindset.

8. Ability to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

9. Responsible and independent at work, with sense of rigor.

10. Min 2 years of experience in the procurement field.

11. Prior experience in aerospace industry is a plus.
