Job description

Position Responsibilities

Procurement & Inbound Logistics Management:

1. Coordinate and oversee inbound logistics activities, including transportation, customs clearance, and warehousing, to ensure timely receipt of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
2. Collaborate with freight forwarders and logistics partners to optimize transportation routes, minimize costs, and enhance efficiency.
3. Liaise with suppliers to place procurement orders, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure timely delivery of materials and components in accordance with production schedules.
4. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies to maintain quality standards and minimize disruptions.

Inventory Management

1. Utilize inventory management systems and implement demand forecasting strategies to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
2. Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to manage demand and generate accurate and timely reports for decision-making purposes.

Fulfillment

1. Coordinate with fulfillment partners and distribution centers to manage order processing, picking, packing, and delivery, including handling of returned deliveries.
2. Monitor delivery performance and address any issues or discrepancies to ensure efficient and on-time delivery to retail customers.

Continuous Improvement

1. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the supply chain, and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experiences

1. Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. At least 1-2 years’ experience in supply chain management in a related industry.
3. Strong understanding of inbound logistics, procurement processes, inventory management, and outbound fulfillment operations.
4. Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
5. Preferably have basic proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP systems and inventory management systems.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of supply chain management.
