Position Responsibilities
Procurement & Inbound Logistics Management:
- Coordinate and oversee inbound logistics activities, including transportation, customs clearance, and warehousing, to ensure timely receipt of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders and logistics partners to optimize transportation routes, minimize costs, and enhance efficiency.
- Liaise with suppliers to place procurement orders, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure timely delivery of materials and components in accordance with production schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies to maintain quality standards and minimize disruptions.
Inventory Management
- Utilize inventory management systems and implement demand forecasting strategies to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to manage demand and generate accurate and timely reports for decision-making purposes.
Fulfillment
- Coordinate with fulfillment partners and distribution centers to manage order processing, picking, packing, and delivery, including handling of returned deliveries.
- Monitor delivery performance and address any issues or discrepancies to ensure efficient and on-time delivery to retail customers.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the supply chain, and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in supply chain management in a related industry.
- Strong understanding of inbound logistics, procurement processes, inventory management, and outbound fulfillment operations.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Preferably have basic proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP systems and inventory management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of supply chain management.
