Job description

Job Responsibility
  • Perform all relevant transactions related to shipments with forwarding companies.
  • Handle tasks related to shipment processes.
  • Calculate storage and clearance costs.
  • Verify the shipping invoice and supporting documents.
  • Ensure proper distribution of shipping invoices and supporting documents.
  • Maintain records in the system upon receipt of goods.
  • Raise stock issue, stock transfer, and stock receive documents when necessary.
  • Prepare all necessary shipping documents, including Jadual CJ1.
  • Report timely to relevant authorities, including Customs.
  • Maintain regulatory documentation and records.
  • Liaise with the warehouse team regarding storage.
  • Ensure workflows and queries are processed accurately and promptly to provide comprehensive responses and quick solutions to internal and external queries and issues.
Procurement
  • Check stock availability based on database updates.
  • Determine the lowest cost for products/materials.
  • Source and interview vendors; negotiate contracts and costs.
  • Organize and schedule procurement activities timely.
  • Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up until delivery is confirmed.
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, customers, team members, and managers to align goals.
  • Verify invoices from suppliers and ensure all necessary documents are in order.
  • Update database with stock arrival dates.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or higher degree (e.g., Bachelor's, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree).
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in procurement/purchasing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong project management and attention to detail.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit and able to work long hours.
  • Soft-spoken with high communication and negotiation skills.
  • Confident, witty, and persuasively un-irritable.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • High stamina and ability to handle pressure.
  • A positive 'can-do' attitude.
  • Knowledge of SST is preferred.
