Mettler-Toledo International, Inc. is seeking a Data Steward to join the Supply Chain Data & Analytics Team in Malaysia. The role focuses on harmonizing data and analytics, managing SAP master data, and ensuring data quality across the supply chain.

Responsibilities include BOM management in SAP, material variant configurations, and driving reporting enhancements while collaborating with business stakeholders. Adaptability to virtual and in-person work is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management information systems or related field.
• Supply chain experience and knowledge of the industrial environment.
• Experience with SAP (master data, bill of materials and variant configuration) is desired.

Responsabilités

• Manage SAP master data.
• Coordinate material phase-in/out with strategic units.
• Create and maintain bill of materials in SAP.
• Program and maintain SAP variant configuration including material variants.
• Monitor data quality and ensure accuracy and completeness within the supply chain.
• Coordinate master data alignment across all units within the supply chain.
• Create and develop reporting.
• Support or drive projects with business stakeholders.
• Serve as single point of contact for stakeholders.
• Continuously improve global processes and initiate cost reductions.
• MDM Power User for system updates, retrofit activities, and higher-level error resolution.

Our Global Supply Chain Management organization is looking to harmonize its data and analytics environment. The excellent quality of master data and the adequate use of SAP are the focus of an efficient material management. In order to ensure a high quality management of this data, we are looking for a Data Steward to join our Supply Chain Data & Analytics Team.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

• Management of SAP master data
• Coordination of material phase-in/out in cooperation with the strategic business units
• Creation and maintenance of bill of materials in SAP
• Programming and maintenance of SAP variant configuration including material variants
• Monitoring of data quality and ensure the accuracy and completeness within the supply chain
• Coordination of master data alignment across all units within the supply chain
• Creation and development of reporting’s
• Support or drive projects in close collaboration with business stakeholders
• Single point of contacts for stakeholders
• Continuous improvement of global processes and initiation of cost reductions
• MDM Power User for system updates, retrofit activities, and higher-level error resolution

What You Need to Succeed

1. Background

• Bachelor’s degree in management information system or related field
• Supply Chain experience and knowledge of the industrial environment
• Experience with SAP (master data, bill of materials and variant configuration) is desired
