Job summary

Jabil is seeking a technical focal point for the work cell to address supplier quality issues directly with the Supplier Quality Engineering group and to communicate status on non-conforming parts and suppliers at the site level. The role requires collaborating with Receiving Inspectors and SQE to ensure timely disposition of non-conforming materials.

Ideal candidates hold a engineering degree with 0–2 years of experience, possess advanced PC skills, and have familiarity with SAP for Inspection

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; 0–2 years of experience.
• Strong PC skills and ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information.
• Experience with SAP and handling non-conforming parts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Release non-conforming materials to stock or production promptly.
• Provide feedback of issues to SQE II.
• Guide Receiving Inspectors and ensure compliance with inspection plans.
• Perform inspection of components per Inspection Plans in SAP.
• Serve as the focal point for work cell quality issues from purchased components.
• Evaluate component failure rates and initiate corrective actions with manufacturers.
• Ensure proper documentation when returning non-conforming materials to vendors.
