Job summary

Astrodyne TDI is seeking a proactive Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to join our Penang operations team. You will drive supplier quality excellence, resolve issues, implement corrective actions, and lead continuous improvement in our global supply chain.

You will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to audit suppliers, support IQA, and ensure prevention of production problems through robust PPAP/8D processes and DMAIC projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality function.
• Strong knowledge of supplier quality management, SCAR, 8D, Kaizen, and DMAIC methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Act as focal point for commodity-related quality issues from purchased components.
• Plan and perform supplier audits and interface with Corporate SQE.
• Drive corrective actions and permanent solutions; manage MRB, SCAR and quality documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cost, manufacturability and quality.
