Job summary

San Francisco Coffee is seeking a Supervisor in Penang to oversee daily outlet operations, lead a barista team, and ensure smooth opening/closing, cashier control, and stock management. You will implement marketing promotions, drive sales, and maintain cleanliness while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist and report to Assistant Manager / Outlet Manager on outlet operation matters.

• Oversee cashier operations to ensure accuracy and SOP adherence.
• Monitor and implement marketing promotions in the outlet.
• Verify daily cash flow and perform bank-in according to SOP.
• Manage stock ordering and receiving to ensure good condition.
• Train, guide and supervise baristas to develop them into top performers.
• Identify opportunities to maximize sales.
• Maintain store cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Provide high-quality service and motivate the team to do the same.
• Assist Outlet Manager with paperwork and reporting.

Job description

A Supervisor takes on a range of roles including:

Assist and report to Assistant Manager / Outlet Manager on outlet operation matters.

Lead and demonstrate the team the operation process according SOP.

Assure the opening and closing process is smooth and according to SOP.

Assure the cashier operation process is smooth and according to SOP.

Assure the marketing promotion implement correctly in outlet.

To monitor and assure daily cashflow of outlet is accurate and healthy.

Count and verify daily sales at the end of the day and proceed to bank-in according to SOP.

Assure the stock ordering and receiving is correct and in good condition.

To train, guide and supervise barista task and develop them to be the best barista in the outlet, and able to monitor their work progress effectively.

Identify business opportunities to maximize sales.

Maintaining store cleanliness and housekeeping.

Provides the best and quality service and to drive the team to practice the same.

Assist Outlet Manager on paperwork and reporting process.

SPM / O Level / SKM Level 1 / SKM Level 2 / SKM Level 3 or Equivalent

Have experienced at least 1 year in coffee chain industry.
