Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking a Sourcing Supervisor in Penang, Malaysia to lead sourcing activities for the Antenna business and support procurement strategies across electronic and mechanical commodities.

You will drive supplier performance, cost optimization, localization initiatives, and supply chain resilience while ensuring delivery, quality, and operational excellence. The role requires 5+ years of manufacturing experience (2+ in procurement), strong negotiation and data analysis skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 2 years in procurement.
• Familiarity with the Antenna business is preferred.
• Strong project management, negotiation, supplier management, and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and decision‑making abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing activities for PCB, PCBA, RF connectors, mechanical parts, and packaging commodities.
• Drive cost reduction, supplier localization, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), and dual-source strategies to strengthen supply resilience.
• Act as the commodity expert for electronic components, providing both commercial and technical sourcing support.
• Improve supplier performance in cost, quality, delivery, technical capabilities, and service levels.
• Partner with project, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams on procurement activities throughout product development and commercialization.
• Identify, develop, and manage strategic suppliers aligned with business and localization objectives.
• Achieve key procurement KPIs including quality, delivery, productivity, inventory optimization, lead-time reduction, and payment terms improvement.
