This role involves compiling information for various security-related functions, providing property loss prevention training, supervising security personnel, and maintaining security systems. The position also includes administrative support for the Security Department, working under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Promote security awareness programs to foster a security culture and ensure a safe work environment.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and audits to identify security weaknesses.
- Guide and brief outsourced security teams to ensure effective performance according to company policies and KPIs.
- Provide monthly reports for management review.
- Assist the Security Manager in achieving security objectives.
- Ensure adherence to schedules and work standards.
- Support security personnel and coordinate their deployment.
- Lead internal investigations for security non-compliance incidents, prepare reports, and manage evidence for domestic inquiries.
- Address stakeholder concerns professionally and promptly.
- Support contractor management to ensure compliance with AE EHS/Security protocols.
- Improve security processes and systems continuously to align with industry best practices.
- Implement and monitor key control and lost & found procedures if required.
- Coordinate security coverage for various functions.
- Conduct training sessions for security staff and employees, including orientation and SOP development.
- Assess security staff performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee security procedures and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with PCs and programs like Word and Excel.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Initiative, innovation, and decision-making skills.
- Experience engaging with government agencies.
- Availability for after-hours responses to security alerts.
- Certifications such as CTPAT and ISO 900:2015 are advantageous.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
- Training and management skills for security personnel.
- Knowledge of security inspection techniques and emergency procedures.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years in related fields, especially in facilities administration and security supervision.
- Experience with RBA, C-TPAT, and audit management.
