Job Description: Security Supervisor
Compiles information for various security-related functions, provides property loss prevention training, supervises security personnel, maintains security systems, and offers administrative support to the Security Department under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Promote security awareness programs to foster a security-conscious culture and ensure a secure work environment.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and audits to identify security vulnerabilities within the team and the company.
- Provide briefings and guidance to ensure outsourced security teams perform effectively according to company policies and KPIs.
- Prepare monthly reports for management review.
- Assist the Security Manager in achieving security objectives.
- Ensure compliance with schedules and work standards.
- Support security guards directly and deploy them as needed.
- Support internal investigations of security incidents, prepare reports, and manage evidence for domestic inquiries.
- Address stakeholder concerns professionally and promptly.
- Coordinate with facilities and operations teams to ensure contractor compliance with security protocols.
- Continuously improve security processes and systems to align with industry best practices.
- Implement and monitor key control and lost & found procedures as required.
- Coordinate security coverage for events and functions.
- Conduct training sessions for security staff and general employees, including orientation and ongoing training.
- Assess and supervise the performance of security personnel, ensuring proper care of equipment and staff.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in PC programs such as Word and Excel.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Initiative, innovation, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with government agencies and security inspection techniques.
- Availability for after-hours response to security alerts.
- Certifications such as CTPAT and ISO 900:2015 auditing are advantageous.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
- Ability to train and manage security staff.
- Skilled in emergency response, security incident reporting, and handling threats.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in security or facilities management.
- Experience with RBA, C-TPAT, and audit management preferred.
