Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Supervise a team of workers and subcontractors performing routine highway and infrastructure maintenance, including road repairs, vegetation control, and signage installation.
  • Develop and monitor daily and weekly work plans, ensuring timely execution of routine and ad-hoc maintenance activities based on inspection reports and client priorities.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify defects, verify completed work, and ensure all maintenance meets required quality and safety standards.
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety guidelines on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all maintenance staff and contractors.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., engineering, traffic, environmental) and external stakeholders to resolve maintenance issues and improve operational efficiency.
  • Verify and validate work performed by subcontractors, including Repair and Replacement Works and Routine Maintenance Work Programmes, prior to client submission.
  • Lead response efforts during incidents such as accidents, flooding, or hazardous spills, ensuring rapid recovery and minimal service disruption.
