Job summary

Alam Dingin Air Conditioning Engineering is seeking an HVAC Supervisor in Malaysia to oversee installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems including air handling and chilled water distribution.

The role involves planning jobs, developing preventive maintenance programs, and supervising technicians to ensure work meets plans and specifications.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of HVAC experience.
• HVAC certificated from recognized educational bodies.
• Knowledge & experience in chiller maintenance service & troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of computer
• Advantage if you have Chargemen certificate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC units and associated air handling, chilled water distribution and environmental control systems.
• Plan individual jobs and long-term work operations, develop preventive maintenance program, and control quality of repair work.
• Receive oral or written work requests and set priorities.
• Assign personnel to jobs.
• Review all work orders before and after completion.
• Supervise major overhaul or installation of environmental control systems to ensure work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
• Oversee repair and replacement of faulty thermostats, wiring and controls, and compressors.
• Review the work of contractors for adherence to plans and specifications and for quality assurance.
• Keep records of work orders, inventory and expenditures.
• Estimate and order needed equipment and supplies.
• Determine the appropriate HVAC equipment.
