Job Introduction:

Join our team as a Supervisor for a leading collection of Japanese fashion and lifestyle brands! Help launch our first store in Malaysia this July and be part of an exciting new journey. Start date: 7 July 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations to meet sales goals and operational standards.
• Assist in supervising and guiding team members on the shop floor, ensuring smooth shift execution.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and help with onboarding new team members.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in communicating inventory needs to the Store Manager and head office.
• Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards in alignment with brand guidelines.
• Actively engage with customers to deliver a welcoming, friendly, and helpful shopping experience.
• Support the execution of in-store promotions and ensure staff are briefed on product highlights.
• Help manage scheduling, floor assignments, and basic reporting tasks as delegated by the Store Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Supervisor in a retail environment, preferably within fashion, footwear, or lifestyle sectors.
• Strong team player with leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and guide junior staff.
• Passion or experience in footwear and leather products is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.
• Good understanding of customer service excellence and sales floor standards.
• Interest in fashion and trends — from natural and feminine styles to casual and streetwear looks.
• Responsible, organized, and proactive in handling operational support duties.
• Familiarity with social media trends (e.g., Instagram, TikTok) is a plus for brand and customer engagement.
• Preferably with experience in new store openings and setup processes.
