About the role

As a Supervisor Cafe at AiLOAF Bakery & Cafe', you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our cafe in Shah Alam, Selangor. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, and leading a team of passionate cafe staff.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the work of cafe staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen personnel
• Ensure efficient and effective service delivery, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
• Monitor and maintain inventory, stock levels, and resource management to optimise cafe operations
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to company standards
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Contribute to the development and implementation of cafe policies, procedures, and best practices
• Collaborate with the management team to identify and address operational challenges
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to cafe staff to support their professional development

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality or food service industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in cash handling, inventory management, and basic financial reporting
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the cafe/restaurant industry
