Job description

• A new manufacturing facility is being established in Senai Ipark, Johor Bahru, specializing in medical devices, injection molding, and precision engineering. We welcome talent with relevant industry experience to apply. For the right candidate, our client is prepared to offer up to a 30% increase on your current salary.
  

Job Description:

1. Team Supervision & Management:

• Supervise and lead a team of production staff, including operators and technicians, to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes.
  
• Provide training, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  

2. Production Oversight:

• Monitor and manage daily production activities to meet production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
  
• Ensure that production processes are adhered to and that any issues are promptly addressed.
  

3. Molding Expertise:

• Utilize your expertise in molding, especially in the production of medical-grade plastics, to oversee and optimize molding operations.
  
• Ensure that molding processes are carried out according to specifications and meet the required quality standards.
  

4. Quality Assurance:

• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that products meet or exceed company and industry standards.
  
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues.
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with the team to implement changes that enhance production efficiency and product quality.
  
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing practices.
  

6. Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure that all production activities are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols.
  

7. Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, quality metrics, and any issues encountered.
  
• Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
  
• Work closely with other departments, including quality, engineering, and maintenance, to support overall production goals.
  
• Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
  

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a production or supervisory role, with a strong background in molding within the plastic manufacturing industry.
  
• Expertise in medical plastics is a significant advantage.
  
• Proficient in production management and quality control procedures.
  
• Fluent in Mandarin, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking team members and stakeholders.
  

Salary Range:

• From RM4000 to RM8500
