About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Subcon Sourcing Manager to join our External Manufacturing Back-end team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing subcontractor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality services from subcontractors. Candidates should possess a combination of technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and effective communication and negotiation skills.

What You Will Do

1. Commodity Management: Identify, evaluate, and select subcontractors based on capabilities, performance history, and project requirements. Responsible for executing the back-end sourcing strategy to develop a supply base that provides best-in-class external solutions. Provide commercial input into stakeholder requirements.
2. Cost Management: Drive cost reduction initiatives through negotiation, value engineering, and market trend analysis. Collaborate with subcontractors to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
3. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and finalize contracts with subcontractors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance. Work with legal and procurement teams to address contractual requirements.
4. Supplier Management: Develop strong relationships with subcontractors, address performance issues, and conduct regular reviews. Maintain close contact with key account managers and serve as the escalation point.
5. Risk Management: Identify risks associated with subcontracted services and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

What You Will Need
