Role Overview

The purpose of the Structural Engineer role in the Engineering Hub is to provide engineering design support, ensuring compliance with standards, and coordinating with team members to deliver safe and efficient construction solutions.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  1. Understand basic structural analysis to ensure design outputs meet deadlines and quality standards.
  2. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, reports, and materials take-offs.
  3. Design and conduct engineering experiments to develop workable solutions.
  4. Review and check shop, architectural, and structural drawings.
  5. Assist in value engineering to optimize cost and construction speed.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety compliance.
  7. Adhere to health and safety legislation and company policies, striving to improve safety audits.
  8. Utilize skills and knowledge flexibly to benefit the business.
  9. Perform all technical and engineering responsibilities as needed.
  10. Maintain a customer-centric mindset, external and internal.
  11. Analyze situations quickly, identify issues, and provide effective solutions.
  12. Work well with colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  13. Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
  14. Challenge oneself and provide constructive feedback.
Key Competencies and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
  • At least one year of experience in structural design of buildings.
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, especially reinforced concrete.
