Qualifications

  • 3 years of relevant consultancy experience.
  • Familiarity with Singapore submission processes and Eurocodes.

Responsibilities

Based in Malaysia, as part of and supporting our Asia unit buildings team, you will support regional projects across Singapore, United Kingdom, and Hong Kong mainly.

Armed with relevant professional qualifications, analytical skills in FEM and with strong communication skills, you’re able toengage and build relationships at every level with both internal and external stakeholders. With 3 years of relevant consultancy experience and being familiar with Singapore submission processesandEurocodes, your experience in concrete and structural steel structures design is key as you will focus on providing support on the design of high-rise, healthcare and industrial buildings. You are also proficient in 3D design tools such as likeRobot, ETAB, TSD, STAAD Pro and SAFE

Key Responsibilities
  • Do detailed Civil and Building Structures design for foundation, steelworks, and reinforce concrete (RC) structures, ensuring compliance with technical standards and project specifications
  • Develop design concepts and construction methodologies and provide leadership in sectional project execution
  • Coordinate with the Client, Client’s Consultants, Contractor, and relevant Authority to obtain design approval
  • Prepare detailed design and technical reports to support the outline design, design development, and construction documentation phases of the project.
  • Deliver detailed/in-depth engineering calculations and structural analyses to support statutory submissions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Prepare structural briefing materials, technical specifications, and tender documentation to support project planning and procurement processes.
  • Participate in technical and progress meetings with clients, contribute to the development of design concepts and construction methodologies and provide leadership in sectional project execution and site inspections during the construction phase.
Qualifications
