As part of the Mechanical Structural Engineering team, you will be responsible for playing a vital role in delivering engineering work packages according to specifications, on time, and within budget. You will collaborate with colleagues worldwide and third-party clients. Your daily work will require effective communication and cooperation across disciplines and responsibilities with various parties.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform conceptual, basic, and detailed analyses and designs based on design basis, project specifications, and standards.
  • Conduct design calculations using Finite Element Analysis and/or hand calculations to ensure the structural integrity of offshore handling equipment and structures.
  • Prepare clear and comprehensive engineering reports.
  • Coordinate with other departments for input on designs and drawings.
  • Communicate effectively with local and international colleagues.
  • Deliver projects according to procedures, specifications, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate within the project team to address issues.
  • Support team development through internal training involvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Excellent grades in Static Calculation and Solid Mechanics.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, preferably in design and engineering.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive with problem-solving skills and a flexible team attitude.
  • Experience with FEA software like FEMAP or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of international classification rules (e.g., DNV-ST-N001, Lloyd’s Register) is an advantage.
  • Adaptability, critical thinking, quality focus, and result-oriented mindset.

Remuneration: Based on experience.
