Job summary

Aries Engineering Consultants Sdn Bhd in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with 2-3 years of experience. You will design and analyse structures for varied projects, prepare calculations & drawings, and coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors.

The role requires AutoCAD proficiency and knowledge of Malaysian standards; PE registration is encouraged. Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge may also be considered. Local relocation is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of relevant structural engineering experience preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with structural analysis/design software is an advantage.
• Candidates with PE registration or on the path towards PE are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyse structural works for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, drawings and technical specifications.
• Prepare and review structural drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
• Coordinate structural works with architects, civil engineers, M&E consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Attend site meetings, inspections and technical discussions when required.
• Review shop drawings, method statements and material submissions.
• Monitor construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and relevant standards.
• Liaise with local authorities and relevant agencies for technical submissions and approvals.
• Assist in preparing tender documents, cost estimates and progress claims where required.
• Ensure all engineering works comply with applicable Malaysian Standards, JKR requirements and relevant statutory requirements.
• Perform other engineering duties assigned by the management.
