Job summary

OSD Consultants (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Structural Design Engineer based in Petaling Jaya to perform structural analysis and prepare design proposals for bridges and buildings. The role covers design calculations, technical reports, inspections, and upgrading works, with opportunities to engage in construction engineering projects.

The successful candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree, good English and Bahasa Malaysia, and a proactive, team-centric approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Experience in bridge or building design is an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Responsible, self-motivated, enthusiastic attitude towards work.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for bridges and buildings.
• Prepare design proposals and technical reports for construction engineering, assessments, and strengthening works.
• Manage projects including site coordination and progress monitoring.
• Review engineering drawings prepared by draftsmen.

Structural Design Engineer position based in Petaling Jaya. The role involves performing structural analysis and design calculations for bridges and buildings, preparing design proposals and technical reports for construction engineering, engineering assessments, structural inspections, strengthening, and upgrading works.

About you

• Experience in bridge or/and building design is an added advantage
