Job description

You will provide support to the increasing output for the technical team and to reduce the overall lead time for the technical team's output.

What You'll Do

1. To provide technical support to Sales team for government and private sector including JKR, Government Non-JKR, Residential & Commercial.

2. To support sales team to achieve the overall budgeted sales volume, margin and revenue.

3. Be a dedicated engineering resource responsible for the design of the company’s residential roof solutions.

4. Provide technical support on design drawings and detailing of the steel roof truss solutions with components and offer packaged innovative roof solutions.

5. Provide quantity take-off for all truss components and related accessories for production (PA) of confirmed truss orders.

6. Support channel partners in all aspect of design-related issues.

7. Provide technical expertise to Channel Partners in resolving fabrication, installation or site problems.

8. Conduct site audit to ensure installation are to detailed design.

9. To ensure technical capabilities stay abreast with local, AS & Euro standard or approval code.

10. To comply with BLM’s ISO procedure.

What You Need to Succeed

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or other related disciplines.

2. At least 3 years of experience in structural steel design or related field.

3. Able to use engineering software for designing structure and drafting.

4. Possess own vehicle and a valid driving license.

5. Fast learning, able to search for market opportunity and able to manage project.

6. Good command English and computer literacy.

7. Good interpersonal, communication, team player, presentation skill and project management.

8. High self-disciplines and independence with high initiatives.
