About the role

TC CONSULT & ASSOCIATES SDN BHD is seeking a talented Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time role, you will play a key part in the design and development of innovative structural solutions for a wide range of projects within the civil/structural engineering industry.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting structural analysis and design for various highrise building structures (R.C and Post Tension)
• Producing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet safety, performance, and cost requirements
• Staying up-to-date with industry standards, building codes, and engineering best practices
• Providing technical support and guidance to the project team
• Supervising draughtsmen in producing drawings
• Participating in site visits and inspections as required

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in structural design, preferably in the civil/structural engineering consultancy firm
• Proficient in the use of structural design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, RAPT, Esteem, Prota, Staad-Pro, MS Office, AutoCAD, and other related design software.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and engineering principles
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
