Job summary

Sealink International Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Strategy & Transformation Associate to help modernise operations by building dashboards, data pipelines, and AI-driven workflows. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Strategy & Transformation, you will tackle real-world problems in a traditional industrial group.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years' experience in data/finance roles, a quantitative degree, fluency with SQL or Python, and a strong ability to communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Degree in data science, computer science, engineering, finance, economics, or another quantitative field.
• 1–3 years' experience; outstanding fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• SQL and/or Python; comfort building dashboards and automating work.

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines and dashboards that give management a clearer, more current view of the group.
• Redesign and automate operational processes to cut manual, repetitive work.
• Build and run AI-agent workflows using modern AI tooling.
• Take transformation projects through to delivery, not just proposal.
• Support financial models, research, and analysis on live projects—including, over time, M&A and capital decisions.

SEALINK INTERNATIONAL BERHAD is a Bursa-listed maritime group headquartered in Miri, Sarawak — 15+ companies across offshore vessel chartering, shipbuilding, fabrication and marine services, operating our own fleet and shipyards. This is a hands-on, early-career role, reporting directly to and working closely with the Head of Corporate Strategy & Transformation. You'll spend most of your time building — dashboards, data pipelines, automations — and solving real operational problems across a traditional industrial business. There is also a genuine path over time into corporate development and the group's financial and M&A work.
