Job summary

Takaful Malaysia is seeking a Systems Architect to provide strategic architecture leadership, defining target-state architectures, standards, and roadmaps to support scalable, secure, and sustainable financial services platforms.

You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate priorities into practical architectures and implementation plans, while guiding modernization and platform evolution across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in CS/IT/Engineering with 8–10 years of architecture experience.
• 3–5 years in senior architecture or technical leadership within financial services.
• TOGAF or cloud architecture certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern solution architecture standards, principles, and reference architectures.
• Develop target-state architectures for applications, integration, data, and tech capabilities.
• Provide architecture leadership and assurance across technology initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into practical solution architectures and roadmaps.
• Lead architecture design and integration across enterprise platforms and services.
• Drive modernization, platform transformation, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Evaluate options balancing business value, risk, cost, and sustainability.
• Govern architecture compliance throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams to ensure successful delivery.
