Job summary

AIXTRON Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a hands-on Senior Supplier Quality leader to shape the supplier quality strategy for a Batu Kawan manufacturing hub.

You will drive APQP-based planning, risk assessment and supplier development for next-generation MOCVD equipment components. This role demands deep quality expertise, strong leadership, and willingness to travel internationally. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Quality Management, or related disciplines.
• 10-12 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management and Advanced Quality Planning with >5 years leadership in international manufacturing.
• Quality auditor qualification preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and evaluation of defects in components/assemblies.
• Strong quality tools like FMEA, APQP, 8D, SPC; knowledge of quality management standards.
• Structured, analytical mindset with solution-oriented attitude; strong people management and development skills.

Responsibilities

• Set supplier quality strategy aligned with company objectives and drive long-term capability and performance improvements.
• Lead supplier quality system design, qualification, and ongoing monitoring across production stages.
• Ensure APQP-based quality planning, risk assessment, validation, and readiness for NPI and ramp-ups.
• Lead supplier audits and drive corrective and preventive actions for critical issues.
• Manage a team, coach members, and set KPIs to achieve quality objectives.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required to support supplier networks.
