Job summary

Axiom, Batu Kawan, Penang, seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to develop supplier performance and assure component quality across projects. You will work with suppliers to implement process controls, PPAP, and quality assurance plans to meet customer requirements.

You’ll lead audits, drive continuous improvement, and support supplier change management and problem resolution in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant supplier quality experience.
• Experience with PPAP/FAI, ISO standards and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Select suitable suppliers based on quality, capability, pricing and delivery.
• Lead supplier qualification audits and manage PPAP and FAI documentation.
• Drive supplier quality improvements and action plans from pilot to mass production.
• Perform supplier quality system audits and support CAPA activities.
• Analyze data to drive process improvements and risk assessments.
