Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in procurement/supply chain, preferably in precision manufacturing.
• Familiarity with machining, metalworking, or CNC machining is an advantage.
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong negotiation, cost analysis, and project management skills.
• Fluent in English and Malay; Mandarin is a plus.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and maintain supplier resources to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and build long-term supplier relationships.
• Plan and execute procurement based on production schedules and project needs.
• Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
• Analyze market trends and negotiate pricing to optimize procurement costs.
• Drive supply chain efficiency through process optimization and cross-department coordination.
• Manage inventory levels to prevent overstocking or shortages.
• Identify supply chain risks and ensure supplier compliance with environmental, labor, and safety standards.
• Support engineering teams with technical procurement input during new product development.
