Job summary

Halo Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Procurement and Logistics Specialist in Malaysia to lead end-to-end purchasing, capex sourcing, and supplier management.

You will coordinate international shipments, ensure compliance with customs regulations, and drive cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain. The role requires strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills, with familiarity in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and a focus on reliability and quality in

Qualifications

• Degree in supply chain, logistics or related discipline.
• Experience in procurement, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of customs, import/export and compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing of materials, consumables, and equipment.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times and terms with suppliers.
• Coordinate capex procurement, supplier selection and contracts.
• Develop local/regional supplier networks for cost and quality benefits.
• Prepare RFQs, conduct evaluations, and manage POs.
• Maintain supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and supplier diversification.
• Maintain procurement records and contract files.
• Coordinate international and domestic shipments with freight providers.
• Ensure packaging, handling, and compliance for hazardous materials.
• Monitor transit times, freight costs, and disruptions; resolve issues.
• Prepare reports on procurement, supplier performance and inventory.
• Lead process improvements and assist audits with documentation.
