Job summary

VAT Group AG in Malaysia is seeking a Strategic Program Manager to lead high-priority site initiatives, spanning capacity expansion, supplier ramp-up, product relocation, and business transformation. You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to ensure on-time delivery and value realization.

The role reports to the Malaysia Site General Manager and requires extensive cross-functional collaboration, governance, and a data-driven, outcome-focused leadership style.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master’s in Engineering, Science, Economics, Business Administration or other related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of site leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 10 years of direct management experience in manufacturing.
• Strong strategic and execution capabilities.
• Experience in cross-functional program delivery across Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and govern multiple strategic site programs from initiation to stabilization.
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and HR.
• Drive supplier capacity ramp-up and external supply chain scaling.
• Lead product relocation, industrialization, and business transformation.
• Establish governance, dashboards, and risk management for senior leadership.
