Job summary

TF AMD Microelectronics (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a procurement professional to manage sourcing and purchasing of materials, equipment, tools and consumables for maintenance and operations in Penang.

You will optimize supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, track spend, and drive cost-saving initiatives while ensuring on-time delivery and inventory efficiency across local and regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in equivalent field.
• 3~5 years’ industrial experience with 1-3 years relevant experience in Purchasing/Material management.
• Good knowledge of supplier management and sourcing skills.
• Good knowledge of SAM MM module, inventory management.
• Effective management, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & purchasing of materials, equipment, tools and consumables for maintenance/operations.
• Managing sale of scrap materials and maximizing scrap value.
• Identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, ensure on-time delivery.
• Optimize inventory and purchases to minimize cost while maintaining operation efficiency.
• Track factory spends on commodity items, analyze market trends and implement cost-saving strategies.
