Job summary

RHB Bank Berhad is seeking a proactive Personal Financial Advisor to identify and onboard new clients, analyze financial needs, and craft tailored investment strategies. The role requires strong communication, sales aptitude, and a proven track record of meeting targets in a retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in personal financial advisory, sales, or banking.
• Strong understanding of financial products and services, including investments, insurance, loans, and wealth management.
• Certifications such as FIMM, PCE, CEILI, or TBE are advantageous.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with clients.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, acquire, and onboard new individual clients through referrals, networking, and outreach.
• Conduct comprehensive financial needs analysis and risk assessments for clients.
• Develop and present tailored financial plans and investment strategies.
• Recommend suitable financial products including savings, investments, insurance, loans, and wealth management.
• Educate clients on product features, benefits, and risks.
• Monitor client portfolios and provide ongoing advice and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with product specialists and wealth managers to deliver solutions.
• Maintain accurate client records and prepare reports.
• Keep abreast of market trends and regulatory updates.
