Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Malaysia seeks an experienced mechanical engineering leader to drive strategic suppliers, shape the commodity strategy for assurance of supply (AOS), and push cost savings and quality improvements across programs.

You will mentor engineers, lead cross‑functional collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality and Manufacturing, and work with worldwide suppliers to resolve complex technical and manufacturing issues, while strengthening internal capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Motivated individual with strong leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Preferably 8-11 years of experience in relevant fields (e.g. materials engineering, supplier quality, manufacturing engineering).

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic suppliers and influence commodity strategy to ensure assurance of supply (AOS).
• Drive supplier technology development and quality performance (DFX, RCCA, 8D).
• Explore alternate materials/processes/new technology/design improvements to achieve cost savings, quality improvement, and AOS alignment with business needs.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and worldwide suppliers to resolve complex technical and manufacturing issues.
• Provide technical guidance, mentor engineers and strengthen internal technical capabilities.
