Job summary

Plexus Malaysia is seeking a senior leader to provide strategic direction for the Purchasing department. You will oversee procurement and planning activities, mentor the Materials Team Manager and related staff, and collaborate across functions to ensure agile contingency planning and sustained performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of related experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Purchasing department.
• Oversee the total materials (procurement and planning) process.
• Mentor/coaching to Materials Team Manager, Demand Analyst and Buyers to ensure customer demands are well executed.
• Collaborate with functional teams to ensure contingency plans for changes/crises.
