Qualifications

• Diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 2 years' experience in Purchasing, Buyer, Material Planning, or Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of material planning, procurement, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and procure materials to support production schedules and customer demand.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor supplier deliveries to ensure on-time supply.
• Coordinate with approved vendors on pricing, quality, lead time, and order confirmations.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock aging, and inventory turns to optimize material availability.
• Follow up on outstanding orders, expedite urgent deliveries, and manage rejected or non-conforming materials.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
• Support Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory initiatives and continuous process improvements.
• Perform purchasing administration, including PO documentation and record maintenance.
