Job summary

PCI Private Limited, a Celestica member, is seeking an experienced Pricing Specialist in Malaysia to optimize material pricing, drive margin growth, and support new bids.

You will collaborate with global teams, manage cost analyses, and lead VA/VE proposals, leveraging SAP and MS Office to deliver data-driven pricing strategies that strengthen competitiveness across bids and programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
• 8+ years' EMS/MNC experience.
• Experience in cost analysis, material pricing, and sourcing strategy.
• Knowledge of plastics, cables, connectors, modules, PCBs.
• Proven VA/VE proposal experience.
• SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Self-driven, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competitive material pricing solutions to support growth and margins.
• Collaborate with global units to determine pricing strategy.
• Align on trade-offs between cycle-time, precision, and scope with clients.
• Project manage pricing with commodity, costing, and engineering teams.
• Prepare pricing for new bids and manage ongoing pricing (re-pricing).
• Provide insight to support external negotiations with customers or suppliers.
• Present proposed pricing solutions to stakeholders.
• Perform take-down trends analysis and modelling for service requests.
• Conduct market research and product teardowns for competitiveness.
