Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a highly motivated Procurement Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management across key logistics categories such as Ground, Air, Ocean transport, and warehousing. You will own end-to-end category strategies and drive cost-saving initiatives in collaboration with Legal and cross-functional teams.

The role requires 3–5 years in procurement or logistics, strong negotiation and analytics skills, and proficiency with eSourcing tools.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Logistics-related roles.
Experience leading RFx events and supplier negotiations for services categories.

Responsibilities

Own and drive category strategy for assigned Logistics categories (Ground, Air, Ocean Transportation, RMA/VMI/LC Warehousing, Brokerage Services).
Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFx development, supplier engagement, bid analysis, negotiations, and award recommendations using eSourcing tools.
Analyze spend data, business requirements, and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities, drive value, and mitigate supply and service risks.
Manage supplier performance through defined KPIs, and drive continuous improvement across the supply base.
Lead commercial negotiations and contract execution in close partnership with Legal and cross-functional stakeholders.
