We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Strategic Innovation Lead to lead initiatives that drive both internal process improvements and external strategic insights. This role is pivotal in enhancing work efficiency across the organization while providing critical analysis of economic trends, government strategies, and market insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities for innovation, developing actionable strategies, and implementing solutions that align with Samsung Electronics' long-term goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Internal Process Improvement

• Lead Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and propose innovative solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
• Drive Digital Transformation: Implement advanced technologies (e.g., AI, IoT, automation) to modernize internal processes and improve decision-making capabilities.
• Foster a Culture of Innovation: Encourage cross-departmental collaboration to develop and implement innovative practices that enhance organizational agility.
• Monitor Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of process improvements and ensure continuous optimization.

Economic Trend Analysis

• Conduct in-depth research on global economic trends, emerging markets, and industry disruptions to inform strategic decision-making.

Government Strategy Alignment

• Analyze government policies, regulations, and incentives to identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and compliance optimization.

Market Insight Generation

• Provide actionable insights on market dynamics, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to support business growth initiatives.

Scenario Planning

• Develop strategic scenarios to anticipate future challenges and opportunities, ensuring the organization remains competitive in a rapidly changing environment.

Strategic Leadership & Collaboration

• Develop Innovation Roadmaps: Create comprehensive roadmaps that outline key initiatives, timelines, and resource allocation for innovation projects.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with senior leadership, department heads, and external partners to align innovation strategies with organizational objectives.
• Lead change management initiatives by communicating the benefits of innovation projects and addressing resistance to ensure successful implementation.

Performance Reporting

• Prepare detailed reports on innovation initiatives, progress, and outcomes for management review.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or related fields.
• Proven track record of leading successful process improvement and innovation projects in a large organization.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) and project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Familiarity with digital transformation technologies (e.g., AI, IoT) and their applications in business processes.
• Professional and excellent presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation strategy and communication skills.
• Experience in the electronics or technology industry is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of global economic trends and government policies impacting the tech sector.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PMP or related methodologies is a plus.
