Job description

  1. Collaborate with product development teams to identify consumer trends, preferences, and market opportunities. Oversee R&D efforts to innovate formulations, packaging designs, and product features that differentiate the company's offerings.
  2. Coordinate cross-functional teams to advance new products from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and regulatory compliance.
  3. Lead the planning, design, and launch of flagship retail locations or experiential stores in key markets. Incorporate visual merchandising, product displays, and interactive experiences to enhance brand engagement and drive sales.
  4. Optimize manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize waste. This may include outsourcing parts of the manufacturing process.
  5. Identify and lead potential M&A opportunities, conducting due diligence and leading negotiations to ensure strategic alignment and value creation.
  6. Understand and drive continuous long-term cost optimization strategies.
  7. Analyze and assess various process flows within the organization to identify opportunities for improvement.
  8. Leverage consumer insights, market research, and competitive analysis to capitalize on growth opportunities and tailor projects addressing challenges or opportunities in the FMCG sector, such as sustainability initiatives or market expansion.
  9. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key challenges and objectives for each project. Oversee implementation and report periodically to the CEO.
  10. Take ownership of food safety and address non-compliance challenges.
