Job summary

OCBC Bank in Malaysia is seeking a finance professional to manage intercompany billings, perform GL reconciliations, and drive budgeting and process improvements. Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, ICAEW) with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Effective communicator, proactive, able to multi-task, and with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage intercompany billings to ensure compliance with transfer pricing principles.
• Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations, conduct variance analysis, and provide explanatory commentary for performance reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Handle budgeting preparation and monitoring to ensure full cost coverage and proper charging mechanisms.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve issues promptly.
• Understand and explore ways of improvement on processes Undertake ad-hoc projects and assignments in the department
• Manage entity financials including financial statements, receivables aging, accruals, billings, mark-up, recovery
• Provide support in intercompany and outsourcing financial matters
• Drive initiatives to enhance customer experience
• Lead and transform operating model
