Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Financial Analyst in Kuala Lumpur to analyze financial data and support business decisions. You will perform cost analysis, ensure accurate backlog reporting, and conduct monthly reconciliations under US GAAP and local GAAP. The role ensures SOX compliance and aids statutory accounts preparation.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Oracle or SAP ERP systems in a manufacturing setting. Knowledge of Access is a plus.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP) required.
• Working knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and SOX.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP) and consolidated reporting.
• Experience in manufacturing industry desirable.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Cost analysis and reporting: review and analysis of project costing, gross margin analysis, direct charges, inventory evaluation.
• Bookings and Backlog: review and report proper net Backlog values on a monthly basis.
• Monthly reconciliations: balance sheet and P&L in accordance to US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Sox and Audit: maintain Sox compliance with Group Accounting Policies, Statutory Accounting Principles and Legal/Fiscal local regulations.
• Statutory Accounts: support for the Annual Financial Statement preparation.
