Job summary

ASE Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Costing Manager to oversee end-to-end product costing, governance and financial evaluation. You will lead the costing team, develop accurate cost models and drive continuous improvements in costing methodologies.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, CAPEX evaluation and strategic cost-reduction initiatives, collaborating with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to optimize profitability and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years in costing and manufacturing cost accounting; stronger experience is a plus.
• Mandarin speakers preferred to support job-related communication needs.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and data tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end product costing, pricing governance and financial evaluation.
• Lead the costing team; ensure accurate cost models and continuous improvements.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and CAPEX evaluation; drive cost-reduction initiatives.
• Prepare management reports and ad-hoc analyses to support decisions.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
• Develop costing tools, templates and dashboards to enhance efficiency.
