Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a strategic CFO to lead financial strategy, planning, and governance for a manufacturing business. You will partner with the MD and leadership teams to optimize profitability, capital investments, and working capital while steering regulatory compliance and stakeholder reporting.

The role requires senior finance leadership experience in manufacturing, strong cost management, and a track record in corporate governance and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, MICPA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• Significant senior-level experience in finance, FP&A, controllership, or corporate finance.
• Proven track record in CFO/finance leadership roles with manufacturing exposure.
• Experience in joint ventures, multinationals, or shareholder-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with growth plans.
• Act as strategic business partner to MD and senior leadership with financial insights.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
• Drive cost management, productivity, and profitability across manufacturing.
• Assess pricing, product profitability, and market opportunities with the teams.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and liquidity management.
• Ensure strong governance, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Engage with Board, shareholders, auditors, and external partners.
• Lead digital transformation and finance process improvements.
